Our organization was formed out of a need to save women and children from the effects of abortion in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Our founding members believed that Catholic churches and parishioners in our area needed dialogue, activism, information, contacts and training on the pro-life issues of our day.
In Pope John Paul II's encyclical, The Gospel of Life, he stated that we all have "the inescapable responsibility of choosing to be unconditionally pro-life"(28), that "...the task of accepting and serving life involves everyone; and this task must be fulfilled above all towards life when it is at its weakest."
