God our Father, give me grace for understanding that I may inwardly digest the catholic faith; make me prepared always to share the great hope that issues forth from it; help me in my earthly pilgrimage to reach deeper levels of conversion and a more pure love for You; and give me such a desire for Heaven that I will always rejoice in the profession of the Christian faith.  I ask this prayer through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen.
